CAMP VC // T&Cs
These terms and conditions are designed to protect you, other visitors to Camp VC and the event itself.
THE POSSESSION OF A CAMP VC EVENT TICKET SHALL CONSTITUTE AN ACCEPTANCE BY THE HOLDER OF THE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND ADVICE DETAILED BELOW AND IMPLIES AN UNDERTAKING ON THE PART OF THE HOLDER TO ACCEPT THEM.
1) All conditions of the sale of your ticket are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed at the festival site. By purchasing a ticket to the event you are confirming that you have read, understood and agree to all of the below T&Cs.
2) In the event of a breach of this contract by VC London Ltd or The Camp VC event , VC London Ltd and the Camp VC event shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of the breach, which was not reasonably foreseeable by VC London Ltd or Camp VC by the date of this contract.
3) Camp VC tickets are NOT REFUNDABLE. Ticket holders may transfer the name of on their tickets by emailing us at hey@campvc.co.uk up until Friday 12th July 2024 @ 9am. After this date we cannot accept any name transfers.
4) You must be over the age of 18 to attend Camp VC. Anyone under the age of 18 will not be admitted; you will be asked to show ID when exchanging your ticket for a wristband at the sign in desk to gain entry to the event.
5) If you have purchased a ticket on someone else’s behalf you are solely responsible for us at hey@campvc.co.uk with their name and email address information so that we can add them to the Camp VC attendee mail out (you’ll need to be on there to receive all class sign up info via email), so that they may be sent all event including important event class sign up info.
You must also follow the same procedure if you sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend the event. If in the event you do not do this it is your responsibility to relay all event info including class sign up info to them personally so that they can book the classes that they would like to be a part of at the event.
Please be aware that if you have purchased a ticket second hand from someone else after Saturday the 6th July (when riding class sign ups open), riding classes may already be fully booked. It is the original ticket holder’s responsibility to make the new ticket holder aware that riding class sign up dates have passed and classes may be sold out. All other classes and workshops that require sign up open on Saturday July 13th @ 10am.
The deadline for ticket transfers is Friday 12th July 2024 @ 10am. We cannot accept any ticket transfers of any kind (including car and camper van passes) after this date.
6) Purchase of a Camp VC ticket does not guarantee a place on any Camp VC workshops, lessons, or activations. Details of workshops, lessons and activations will be released via email in the months following the launch of tickets - please ensure that you read all emails, ensuring that they are not directed to your junk email folder. These are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Follow VC London / Camp VC to keep up to date with Camp VC news.
7) Camp VC reserves the right to refuse admission to the ticket holder if in the reasonable opinion of Camp VC the admission of the ticket holder to the festival site might be a risk to the safety of other campers and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of other campers and/or the running of the festival. For example, if the holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively. Strictly no illegal substances will be permitted into the festival site, persons entering the festival site may be searched as a condition of the festival premises licence.
8a) Camping is allowed at the festival site in the designated camping areas only. Only campervans (with a purchased campervan pass) are allowed to park in the designated camper van camping areas. If you want to bring a camper van/motorhome you’ll need to buy a ticket plus a campervan pass. You'll only need one car / campervan pass per vehicle but be aware that we have limited camper van spaces so once we are at capacity campervan passes will no longer be on sale. If this does happen car/camper passes will not be available to buy onsite so you will need to either purchase a car pass from someone who is no longer using this or buddy up and share a ride with someone who already holds a car pass. Any tents pitched or campervans parked outside the designated areas or in the car parking areas will be removed. All cars and camper vans must have a purchased car/ camper van pass. Passes must be clearly displayed in the window of your car at all times. Once you’re signed in and you have your parking pass you’ll be directed to a parking spot. Unfortunately, We cannot allow cars or motorcycles to park next to tents. You’ll need to park your car / motorcycle as directed and take your camping equipment to the camping area to pitch your tent. If you want to camp next to your friends, make sure to arrive together as there is no space saving. The maximum tent size that we can accommodate in the campsite at Camp VC is a standard 4 man tent, an example of which can be found here . All motorcycles must be parked a minimum of 2meters away from tents for safety purposes onsite.
8b) Glamping bell tents are not situated directly on the main campsite with standard tent camping. These are a only short distance away from the main campsite.
9) No vehicles, other than campervans (with campervan passes) will be permitted in the camper van camping area. Campervan spaces purchased with a camper van pass are pitches measuring 3.5m x 5m. If your vehicle is bigger than this please get in touch before purchasing a Camper van pass for the event. We cannot accommodate trailers at Camp VC. This includes trailers attached to cars or camper vans.
10) Gazebos and awnings are not permitted at Camp VC.
11) Ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a wristband upon arrival and this must be worn at all times for the duration of the event. You will be asked to show your wristband every time you enter Camp VC. If you’re getting dropped off they will have to leave you and your gear at the front entrance.
12) Gates open at 12pm sharp on Friday 26th July. No one will be allowed through the gate before 12pm unless you are event staff. No one is allowed to camp or enter site before the event opens. Please do not block any roadways while waiting in line.
13) Please be back on site before 8:30pm each night as the gates will be closed after this time. There will be overnight /late night / early am check in team that will be located in the sign in desk. This is also where you will find access to our onsite first aiders, official medics and fire emergency information so if anything arises, please do not hesitate to ask them for help at the desk or find a member of event staff who will radio for help in emergencies.
12) Only alcohol purchased at the licensed bar may be consumed onsite.
13) No animals will be admitted to the festival site, except guide dogs or hearing dogs.
14) Please use the bins provided. Fires, candles or BBQs are not permitted in any area of the festival site and will be extinguished.
15) Strictly no pre approved trading is allowed inside the festival site. We also do not permit any banners or signage of any kind unless pre approved by the Camp VC team.
16) No tape or video recorders or professional photographic equipment for commercial use permitted without prior arrangement from Camp VC organisers.
17) For insurance reasons we operate a strict no fires policy at the event. No laser pens, BBQs, fire pits, gas burners or fireworks will be permitted in the festival site that are not provided by the festival team.
18) Whilst every effort is made to ensure the full, advertised festival activities and events will be onsite, the ticket is for an event as a whole, and not a specific activation/workshop. Camp VC reserves the right to change any advertised activities or events without prior notice.
19) Ticket and wristband holders consent to the photography, filming/sound recording of the event as festival attendees, which may be used for promotional purposes.
20) Camp VC tickets may not be used for competitions or promotions without written permission from the Camp VC event team.
21) It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe the signage around the festival site.
22) Camp VC observes a strict 10mph speed limit onsite at all times, and helmets must always be worn at all times when riding. The same rules, regulations and laws of the road apply when riding onsite as when riding on a public road.
23) Camp VC is an outdoor event. We advise you to bring appropriate clothing and footwear to protect against potential inclement weather.
24) Motorcycling is dangerous and all extreme sports activities onsite and offsite are undertaken at your own risk. Camp VC attendees are expected to take ride in a safe and courteous manner when on and offsite, showing respect to fellow riders and other road users. By purchasing a ticket to Camp VC you are accepting these risks and agreeing to our t&cs. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept full responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing and will not hold Camp VC or any of its representatives responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused. We operate on a strict no drinking and riding policy. Our 24/hr staff will escort anyone who appears to be riding intoxicated off the property. Whilst riding in any riding schools at Camp VC you are under the strict rules held by that school in regards to equipment requirements and riding.
24) Extreme sports, action sports and some of the other activities at Camp VC ( including but not limited to skateboarding, quad skating, white water rafting, hiking, wood carving, fire building, mechanics workshops, archery, axe throwing, the use of specialised tools in craft classes, welding and the use of any power tools during one of our workshops) can be dangerous and all activities onsite and offsite are undertaken at your own risk. By purchasing a ticket to Camp VC you are accepting these risks and agreeing to our t&cs. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept full responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing and will not hold Camp VC, Vc London Ltd or any of its representatives/ workshop hosts/ activity hosts responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused to yourself or others while participating in these activities. We operate on a strict no drinking and taking part in activities policy at the event. Our 24/hr staff will escort anyone who appears to be participating in any dangerous activities whilst intoxicated off the property. Whilst taking part in any activities at Camp VC you are under the strict rules held by that workshop and host in regards to your participation.
26) Camp VC and VC London Ltd reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the festival site.
27) Camp VC reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this ticket in accordance with any new laws, legislation or internal policies.
28) Camp VC is a safe, non judgmental, jealousy free space for Women, Trans Women and Non Binary People who are looking for the freedom and safety to explore action, adventure and motorsport where they may otherwise not find opportunity to do so in this Men’s/Masculine dominated space. We are an LGBTQIA+ Friendly event and have zero tolerance towards transphobia, sexism or racism of any kind. There’s always more we can do and our inclusivity guidelines are continually under review and we will publish any updates here.
